This document provides examples of applications developed using Proximity resources.

Map views and geospatial analyses presented in this document have been prepared using the Proximity CommunityViewer (CV -- http://proximityone.com/cv.htm) software and geodemographic map files (http://proximityone.com/resources). Proximity develops custom demographic-economic estimates and projections, geographic and geocoded data, and assists clients with use of these and related data to facilitate decision-making information solutions. Wide-ranging organizations use Proximity resources (software, data, methodologies, consulting services) to knit together and use diverse data in a decision-making and analytical framework.

CommunityViewer and related GIS resources play an important role in meeting these needs. Proximity Web-based GIS applications (http://proximityone.com/webgis.htm) and custom mapping tools complement and augment CommunityViewer. We blend software, geographic data, and subject matter data to best meet public and private sector client needs.

Gallery Applications New with 2011

... many new applications making use of Census 2010 TIGER shapefiles and ACS 2009 5-year demographics are available as summarized below. Most of the new additions focus on patterns of educational attainment, economic prosperity and changing geographic relationships (new boundaries) ... states by school district and metro areas by school district and census tract/neighborhood. Click on a link to view an area of interest. State and regional sections are being added/updated frequently. Check back for new developments.
