Additional Information about SF3 Tables
Subject matter summary tables, referred to here simply as tables,
contain tabulation(s) of data for specified universes of tabulation
containing one or more data items.
An item corresponds to a data field in the conventional data processing sense.
SF3 tables are categorized as P, PCT, H, and HCT tables. P and PCT tables are population tables.
H and HCT tables are housing tables. PCT and HCT tables contain data items that
are summarized for census tract and larger geographic areas. P and H tables contain data items that
are summarized for block group (a subdivision of a census tract) and larger geographic areas.
