The state-by-state population 5-to-17 years ranking table shows population 5-to-17 years of age and percent population 5-to-17 years of age, 2000 through 2030. In this table, the "P" columns show population 5-to-17 years of age in the corresponding year. For example, P2000 refers to the population 5-to-17 years of age in year 2000. The "%" columns show the percent of population 5-to-17 years of age relative to the total population in the corresponding year. For example, %2000 refers to the percent of the population that is ages 5-to-17 years in 2000. These projections update in 2012, coordinated with Census 2010, American Community Survey and related multi-area estimates & projections.
